They grow here, in St. George, Utah, as do cantaloupe, peaches, pears, almonds, tomatoes, peppers, and grapes (reportedly 40 kinds of grapes). I'm sure there's more produced here, but that's what I've seen so far peeking into gardens on my neighborhood walks. *sigh* ...someday, a garden.
